Alvarez Guitar Bridge Pins = Size 1T. The LJ 60 and the Parlor guitars take size 1.3T. The Yairi is usually a 1.3T but sometimes a 1T. Best to measure (see "Measuring" info below this chart). The Gibson Epiphone almost always takes the 1.3T (3 degree pin but smaller in shaft diameter than the 1T) but Epiphone pin sizes can vary so it is best to measure the diameter at the top of the tapered shaft before buying. A guitar strap allows you to play your instrument anywhere and acts as an expression of your personality. A great strap should be comfortable and stylish, which is why we apply the same attention to detail and craftsmanship to our straps as we do our guitars. See our PIN SIZE GUIDE CHART BELOW (Scroll a lot to get it all) to select the pin size that is right for your make and model. Strap length largely comes down to personal preference and aesthetics, but there are some ergonomic factors at play. In general, the length of your strap should be such that you never have to fully bend your wrist to reach a note or chord when standing. Relaxing your fret hand and wrist prevents strain and injuries down the road. Finding the strap length that works for you is another crucial part of setting up your strap. Learning how to adjust your strap on the fly is equally essential. Gibson Guitar Bridge Pins in bone and fossil ivory = Size 2A for most models and 1.3T for Epiphone but see full Gibson info section below for better info.

Because of the larger body size of some acoustic guitars, it isn’t possible to attach the strap to the guitar body at both ends, and still be in a comfortable playing position. Some guitar bodies are so large that, if standing with a strap with two strap buttons, you wouldn’t be able to reach all the fret comfortably. How to put a strap on a guitar with one button or peg Martin Guitar Bridge Pins = Before 1994 = Size 1T : After 1994 Size 2A or 2C. See below, a full Martin section explaining. The modern Martin "Authentic Model" Guitar Bridge Pins are a 2A.230 unslotted guitar bridge pin. Even if your guitar has two strap pins, you may prefer the feeling of the one-pin method below.
