About this deal

clear acrylic and templates for the windows which will need to be cut out of the beak, instructions included.

This model is a very impressive display piece and is a must if you really want to show off your Eagle Transporter. We always use good quality packaging materials and take great care to pack items carefully to ensure that they are adequately protected while in transit. The Meta Probe was bizarrely shortened, but the Hawk looked pretty accurate from the (quite poor) photograph used on auctions. In 2017 Century Castings (Alex Jackson) produced a detailed passenger pod interior for the Round 2 22 inch Eagle, mastered by Richard Lamer, with variations including passenger seating and computer wall. The kit comes with an extensive water-slide decal sheet, a full-colour deco guide, and assembly instructions. The set includes options for three versions of the stun gun and includes viewscreen and ID badge variants on the water-slide decal sheet. While the kit’s plastic engine bells look good, the metal parts in the aftermarket set are terrific details with extremely thin edges. The true origin of the Space:1999 Hawk starship is a bit of a mystery, but it was fully intended to be a formidable weapon.

This item will be carefully packed and sent out in sturdy outer box via tracked courier or post, with full insurance.

Includes a copy of Roberto Baldassari's ultimate Eagle blueprints and Phil Rae's blueprint reprinted from SIG magazine. It is the same scale as the MPC kit and attachments and decals produced by Tangents and Small Art Works may be used with it. This large scale plastic model kit of the Eagle Transporter from Space 1999 measures 22″ (56cm) long and features a huge amount of detail. Garage kits are made of polyurethane resin in limited numbers by non-professionals (unlike styrene injection molded kits produced by mainstream companies like Airfix, Revell, AMT and Tamiya).

For the Eagle, the command module is flattened and the black window recesses are far too small, there are no feet (or any detail on the vaguely shaped leg pods), the top spine framework is too big, and there are only three rear rockets (with no cylinders).scale resin, vinyl and plastic construction kit based on Metamorph Eagle (booster pod, spine boosters and the New Adam New Eve side boosters). The Hawk, however, was a sleeker design that was unencumbered by the need to serve in utilitarian roles. Its design suggested insect-like features with swappable components such as its central "pod," which could serve as a personnel carrier, a rescue center or as a posh transport for V.

I spent 24 hours building MPC’s Eagle and recommend it to intermediate modelers and above looking to add one or more transports to their collection. The first part contains pages packed with photos on high quality glossy paper (the first 8 pages comprises the cover and both sides of a fold-out poster). Backtracking to Step 11, I built the propulsion unit, cleaning up seams and painting the tanks, frames, and pipes before assembly. In this configuration, the ship was well equipped to handle heavy lifting whether transporting nuclear waste canisters on its flatbed or when it was fully rigged with a powerful winch complete with magnetic hoist. Although some subjects in their catalogue (science fiction and real aircraft) seem accurate, the Eagle and Ultra Probe are weirdly distorted and probably the least accurate models ever made. Parts are provided in off-white, gray and clear, and the kit includes all necessary marking decals so it can be built without the need for paint if desired.
