There was very little responsibility taken by Jaid and the frequent asides that were included by her were distracting, defensive, and inappropriate considering this was supposed to be her daughter's memoir. It gave a lot of insight of what she went through as a child star her issues with drugs and how she came through the ordeal. I guess I can relate to this more than a 'oh my, this is a tragic story', I can relate because I have struggled with the same issues Drew has for as long as I can remember.
