It smells like a sweet drink with fresh slices of cucumber, mint leaves and flower juice that I would want to have on a spring or summer day. this was due largely in part to the aromatic and citrus heavy opening which i didn't get when i sprayed it on the blotter card.

The opening is a little challenging, I get a strong whiff of vodka, rose, and peach… which causes a strong animalic effect. You are enjoying the sea breeze and are breathing it in deeply, while fabulous flowers caress your naked skin. I went through it pretty fast because it didn't really last on my skin and it needed reapplying after just hours. I keep thinking I must've fucked up the bottle or smth but no, everything is fresh and original and it's the correct variant. I went on a bit of a sweaty mall crawl today (dry California suburb, mid-June, sunny Saturday afternoon, school's out, long weekend for some, go figure), and this perfume was an absolute treat to sample in the aftermath.Its invigorating composition is a testament to the power of scent to evoke emotions and create lasting memories. Very clean (I actually hate when people use that term, it's so meaningless and overused, but I can't avoid it here!

I love this perfume, it smells like expensive toothpaste drenched in limoncello and being out at a lake. As time goes on it develops some complexity and loses some of that shampooey quality to become a very delicate and feminine aquatic floral.To me this one not only smells too mature on my skin, but also that brown sugar note is trying to make that mint last longer to no avail. Fruity-florals, such as this one, have enjoyed an incredible rise in popularity in the past few decades. Armani has the magic touch to make something lovely and stylish out of notes that could be cheap and horrendous.

However, in spite of me being emotionally attached to it, I think this is surely an iconic fragrance. The bottle is pretty, acqua di gioia opens with a strong citrus/mohito smell, i find this perfume to turn quite masculin on my skin, definately a unisex perfume, i prefer the beautiful ocean di gioia. The vibes that I am getting from this beautiful fragrance are energetic and uplifting that bring me joy while wearing it. Peony immediately turns this perfume from ice mojito into some kind of hand soap with a floral scent. I'm a man with a love for woody and spicy, leathery note but this is the only female fragrance that I had to purchase a full bottle after first sniff! Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia EDP is an elegant fragrance for women that is reminiscent of a warm tropical destination, full of oceanic breezes that distinctive Mint key note, humid florals and fresh vibrant citrus aromas.

After 20-30 minutes all the fun mojito vibes have already burned off and you're left with a watery, nondescript floral for a few hours before fading away completely. So upset that I sold off my Essenza version and recently purchased this presuming it would be a softer, more easy going, possibly less woody version.It’s so fresh, like you just stepped out of the shower but it’s also mouthwatering, refreshing, icy and cool like the other reviews have said - which makes it perfect for spring and summer. Acqua di Gioia isn't necessarily groundbreaking or unique, but I think it certainly has a place in my collection (too bad I just have a sample! I ended up spraying half the vial over the course of the day today due to the poor lasting power, it was as bad as Givenchy Irresistible but at least my husband commented on that one at some point.
