L'aventure by Al Haramain Eau De Parfum Spray (L'aventure Knight)

CDNIM has gotten me more compliments than any other fragrance I've worn, and yesterday L'A got a me a few (but those were solicited). My gym buddy even asked me if it today was an Aventus day when she smelled me on the treadmill next to her (she knows that I am into fragrances and her husband wears Aventus so she knows this one). See, while Club De Nuit Intense EDT has gotten more compliments than any other fragrance in my collection, It’s way too strong sometimes, I could not dare to wear it to the office, it would choke people out, it projects and lasts WAY better than Creed Aventus itself. However, it's a little too musky on my skin and so I only wear it when I know I'll be out of the house for a while, so no not really great in lockdown. I realized after testing more the "sweet orange" that I don't care for is mostly only detectable right off skin, in the air this is fantastic!

on the positive side it smells really good, is affordable, and it has some really strong smokey Aventus vibes. To my nose, it feels like they tried to get somewhere between Aventus and Cedrat Boise, and the result was something pretty good but deceptive to people who want a clone. I'm not sure what's wrong with my nose compared to all the other reviewers who find it to be much fruitier than woody. I cannot compare to CDIM as it's a totally different scent profile - CDIM is fruity/smoky whereas L'venture is Fruity/woody/musky.

I think this fragrance does smell good and the quality is good as well, but no matter how good a scent smells if it doesn't last an hour it is simply useless in my opinion. Put some scent free lotion on before you spray the place(s) and or double the sprays if you want the fragrance to be twice as loud and long lasting. It also has a TON of fixatives that likely will make you go noseblind but the real Aventus does, too just not to the same extent or quality, so I don't totally knock it. I have tried CDNIM, Supremacy Silver, and every Poseidon variation from Dua and nothing touches L’Aventure.

I'm not gonna say I'm pretty disappointed because I wanted to get L'aventure, and the scent is nice, but it hurts me quite much they did something with the juice once again.Great alternative to Creed Aventus, longevity is not good as CDNIM LE or Afnan intense, maybe 5-6 hours, but scent is very high quality.
